BENJAMIN JOHN OUELLETTE, INTERIOR DESIGNER
Benjamin Ouellette is an award-winning interior designer with more than 23 years of experience creating highly personal kitchens, baths, dressing rooms, and custom interiors that balance beauty, function, and intuitive design. Originally from Waterloo, Ontario Canada, Benjamin founded and led his interior design firm, BJOID, for nearly 15 years before relocating to Atlanta, Georgia and joining Design Galleria Kitchen and Bath Studio.
Known for his intuitive approach to space planning and his ability to solve complex design challenges, Benjamin considers not only how a room should look, but how his clients will live, move, entertain, and interact within it. His work is informed by a deep understanding of ergonomics, proportion, materials, cabinetry, and the psychology of how people experience their homes, allowing him to create spaces that feel highly customized, effortless, and deeply personal.
Benjamin's collaborative approach is central to his process. He works closely with architects, builders, renovators, contractors, artisans, and other design professionals to ensure that every layer of a project is carefully considered and that design intent carries through from concept to installation. He believes the most exquisite results come from bringing the right team together, combining each professional's expertise while keeping the client's lifestyle and vision at the center of every decision.
As an expert in the interior design field, Benjamin has spoken at industry shows such as IDS (Interior Design Show), KBIS (Kitchen and Bath Industry Show), been featured in publications such as Interior Design Magazine, Luxe Interiors + Design, Georgia Design, Kitchen and Bath Design News, Style at Home, Globe and Mail, and Grand Magazine, and has judged various design and product competitions throughout North America.
Today, Benjamin brings that breadth of experience to Design Galleria, guiding clients through the many creative, technical, and logistical complexities of luxury kitchen and bath design while creating spaces that function beautifully for the people who use them every day.
